Very friendly staff

This hotel has the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever met. The receptionist were all fantastic, always smiling and willing to help, sorry I don't remember your names, but the girls in the reception were very nice with us, and so were the guys in reception too! The lady who was everyday at the breakfast buffet was also very friendly and helpful. And the lady who we think was the manager was also very nice. And the room service staff also were very nice. This is a small hotel, in a fantastic location, just across the road from the beach and less than 5 minutes walking to the main square. Everything was very clean. The rooms are a bit small but you don't come to Zakinthos to lock yourself in a hotel room, and the rooms have a lovely balcony with an amazing view. But for us, what really impressed us was the hotel staff, we've been around the world and we met lots of hotel staff, but nobody so friendly, helpful and efficient like the Hotel Plaza team. They really make you feel like part of the family. I don't know if we ever go back to Zakinthos again but if we do we will definitely stay in the Plaza Hotel. Thank you so much to the Hotel Plaza, congratulations for having such an amazing staff.

Great place to stay

Stayed here for one night as we wanted to be in Zakynthos town for a night and a day. Glad we chose this hotel, it caters for families as it has separate sleeping quarters for the children, so there is some form of privacy, there is a fridge in the room where you can store drinks & added bonus there is breakfast, where there is nice selection of food. The hotel is in walking distance from the centre, about 5 min and just across from a beach (not the best, but will do when arriving in the afternoon during august), though you do need to bring a towel and water shoes. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and helpful.

Buen hotel con buena atención

Llegamos al hotel antes del horario del check-in y muy amablemente nos permitieron ingresar a la habitacion, lo cual se agradece mucho. La atencion del personal es muy buena y destacamos a Denise (que esta en todos los detalles) y a Socrates (quien, para nuestra sorpresa, habla ESPANOL!). El hotel tiene una ubicacion buena y tranquila, a 300 metros de la peatonal y a 400 metros de Plaza Solomos. Desde el hotel subimos a pie hasta el Castillo Bohali (aprox. 1400 metros hasta la cima del castillo). El desayuno bufe es bueno y variado. Nuestra habitacion, equipada con nevera, wifi y caja fuerte, tenia un bonito balcon a la calle (frente al mar) con mesa y sillas. Considerando el precio del hotel, quizas era un poco pequena la habitacion pero de todas formas estuvimos comodos. La limpieza en todo el hotel es excelente.

The owner and staff were the best !

We had the most wonderful time in Zakinthos. The Plaza hotel offers a clean, friendly with a great location that is close to the town centre. If you visit please make sure that Denise gives you her recommendations for restaurants and beaches in Zakinthos.
